MODERN PLASTER SERVICES

With newer houses requiring a quick, cost effective way of being plastered, British Gypsum products serve this exact purpose. Various different plasterboards serve a purpose, whether its for soundproofing, fire regulations, moisture board, insulation board or standard white board, there is a solution for every requirement.

Complimenting the various types of board comes the broad range of British Gypsum based plaster and backing coats. Bonding and Hardwall are used on masonary substrates, dependant on suction levels, enabling internal walls to be hard plastered, without the need for plasterboard. Multifinish plaster is a two coat product used in the majority of projects and can be applied on either palsterboard, a base coat or even over existing plaster 'overskim'. Various other Gypsum based fillers and finishes enable a quicker drying time and are sandable, used in tape and jointing, where corners and joints of the boards are filled with a joiting paper and filled out to loose the joint.

For older properties which desire a slightly more traditional look, but do not require the properties of lime, a Gypsum One Coat plaster can be applied directly onto palsterboard or over existing walls and corners hand formed without the need for angle beads.
